I hope this blog finds you well. The purpose of it is to provide regular updates of my coffee drinking experiences in the cafes around Melbourne and Sydney (and in other parts of the world, should I be traveling) for all my friends, family, admirers and who ever may surf the web and come across my humble diary. Its also a way for me to keep in touch with everyone.
I am not a coffee expert or claim to be. This blog is about the pleasure of drinking coffee in a cafe, what thoughts drift across your mind as you drink, the people you see as you sip, the goings on around you.
I think there are few better pleasures in life than sipping a nice, bitter, rich, tasty, hot-but-not-too-hot cappucino, flat white or latte in a cafe while life hurries on by outside.
Reading this blog, you will find bits of trivia (mostly irrelevant), photographs and other bits and pieces. I am sure it will grow and develop over time. All comments are welcome!
April 2011 update: The blog died a few years ago, efforts to resuscitate failed in 2010, but now it’s back and this time I’m serious!
I intend to fill it with bits of trivia (mostly irrelevant), photographs and other bits and pieces. I am sure it will grow and develop over time. All comments are welcome!

Finally! A cafe review worth reading! Thanks Lazza! You definitely don’t need to worry about running out of cafes to review…howz about a shout at free coffee for being the first to comment in this section?! Regular skim mocha @ GJs for $4.90? (and here you thought you’d never find coffee more than $4.50!!)
See you at work!
KM gal,
Ailene
